Everybody wants a website, and I would be the first one to tell insurance agents that they need to be online. However, many agents do invest in a nice looking website, and then sit back and wait for sales to roll in. Let me tell you, a website is not enough! A pretty website is not enough. People need to be able to find your website, and that website must broadcast an effective message.

First you need visitors to come to your wonderful part of the internet. Secondly, when visitors arrive, they need a strong call to action. So, you need to decide what you want to use your own website for, and then you can work for those goals.

In these days when an online search for insurance returns thousands of results, it will not be enough to simply put a website online. You need a plan to promote and use your new tool, and you need to know what you want the tool to do!
